Sir Clive Hubert Lloyd CBE AO who was born on 31st of August 1944 is a Guyanese former cricketer who played for the West Indies cricket team. As a boy he went to Chatham High School in Georgetown. At the age of 14 he was captain of his school cricket team in the prestigious Chin Cup inter-school competition.
Javagal Srinath
Javagal Srinath, was born in 1969 on this day. He is a former Indian cricketer and currently an ICC match referee. He is considered to be among India's finest fast bowlers, and is the first Indian fast bowler to take more than 300 wickets in One Day Internationals.
