In 1936, American athlete Jesse Owens won 200m in world record time (20.7), his 3rd gold medal of the Berlin Olympics


In 1936, Italian athlete Ondina Valla ran a world record 11.6 in the semi finals of the 80m hurdles at the Berlin Olympics; wins final the next day but can't match the time



Venkatesh Prasad


Bapu Krishnarao Venkatesh Prasad, is a former Indian cricketer. He played Tests and ODIs. He debuted in 1994. He was primarily a right-arm medium-fast bowler who was noted for bowling in tandem with his opening seam bowling partner Javagal Srinath.

He took 96 and 196 wickets in Tests and ODI's respectively
